Margaret Burke

Teen Naturalist Program Coordinator
mburke@shelburnefarms.orgMargaret Burke arrived at Shelburne Farms in the fall of 2008 as the Field Trip Coordinator. After teaching English to all ages in a small village in southeastern Kazakhstan for two years, a year teaching early childhood Environmental Education at the Center for the Urban Environment in Brooklyn, and a few semesters teaching at Kingsborough community college, she moved to the green mountain state to learn more about organic farming and agricultural education. Since 2008, she’s taken on coordinating additional programs including the Work and Learn Program and the Aspiring Naturalist Teen program. She absolutely loves spending time on the land with youth.
