Educator Workshop

WEC is a year-long, professional development experience for K-12 teachers in VT, NY, and Quebec. Join your colleagues to explore the rich ecological and cultural stories of the Lake Champlain Basin.  Learn about meaningful and relevant topics that you can bring into your curriculum and that address national and state standards. Network with teachers from around the basin in NY, VT and Québec and join hundreds of educators who bring their discipline alive through watershed education. Have fun and get outdoors! WEC is like camp for teachers: you’ll travel the basin, visit farms, paddle waterways, look out over mountaintops, tour urban areas, and much more! Plan curriculum with new ideas and resources. Join the hundreds of educators who bring their discipline(s) alive through watershed education.
