Your Vermont Wedding
at the Coach Barn
The Coach Barn at Shelburne Farms is a unique Vermont wedding site for your ceremony and reception. An historic building, the Coach Barn is a beautiful, warm, brick structure built in 1901, with an arched entryway and large courtyard. Inside, a cobblestone room separates two large halls that feature original wood wainscoting, hardwood floors, and lovely arched windows. A lakeside lawn area completes the setting (see photo).
This lawn and the Adirondack Mountains provide the perfect background for your wedding ceremony followed by cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Then, bring your guests into the Coach Barn for dinner and dancing. We permit only one event a day so the site is entirely yours, and a site coordinator will work with you every step of the way.
Rooms at the Inn can be reserved as needed. In early June and early September a special package is available which includes use of all guest rooms at the Inn and use of the marble dining room for your rehearsal dinner (limited to 75 guests).
