Seasonal Inn Reservationist

Supervisor:  Inn & Hospitality Director      

Employee Status: Seasonal, Part Time

Location: On-site (99 Inn Road, Shelburne, VT 05482)

Start & End Date:  May 1 - October 26, 2024

Salary Range: $17- $19/hr 

Work Schedule: AM & PM Shifts Available:  9AM- 4PM and 11AM - 7PM


What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities 

  • Answering phones and reservation emails
  • Assist guests with lodging and dining reservations
  • Using the Inn’s reservation system, ThinkReservations, to book Inn reservations
  • Building a thorough working knowledge of the rooms and cottages
  • Providing general information about the Inn and Farm to guests
  • Maintaining on-going phone messages log
  • Booking dinner and breakfast reservations for guests using Resy
  • Assisting with guest-related paperwork and filing

  • Flexible: Your life allows for flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours.
  • Inclusive: Comfortable working with individuals and groups of diverse backgrounds


Additional Valued Qualifications 

  • Previous guest experience preferred and/or familiarity with Google Suite and hotel reservation software


Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Seasonally demanding work schedule
  • Ability to be sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
  • Indoor spaces lack conventional heating and cooling



  • We offer a 30% discount on Farm products.
  • Six (6) days (total of 48 hours) of paid Sick Time for all seasonal employees, regardless of average hours worked/week and length of seasonal time working on the farm.
