Sophia Delfini recently graduated from the University of Vermont with a Degree in Nutrition and Food Science. Her passion for food science has resulted from her experiences in farming, food production, and quality assurance as well. Before becoming a part of the Shelburne team, she had worked as a laboratory technician for a milk testing facility in Vermont. She joins Shelburne Farms to become a part of an amazing community, promote sustainability, and (perhaps most importantly) to make some incredible cheese. She is looking forward to expanding her knowledge surrounding food science by working hands-on in the cheesemaking facility.
