2023 Vermont Farm to School & Early Childhood Network Annual Gathering

Educator Programs
The Network at our Fall Gathering, 2022.

Save the date for the Vermont Farm to School & Early Childhood Network's Annual Gathering!

The Vermont Farm to School & Early Childhood Network is a statewide network of advocates, practitioners, and educators across the state providing  leadership, coordination, and advocacy to advance new and existing farm to school efforts in Vermont classrooms, cafeterias, and communities.

The gathering is open to anyone who is interested in strengthening food systems education for our youth and getting more local food into school cafeterias and early childhood programs.

All are welcome: whether you're a longtime farm to school champion, or brand new to the movement, the gathering is the best opportunity to plug into farm to school and early childhood projects and events from across the state.

We'll convene at Vermont Technical College's Campus Center in Randolph Center (Google map) to share progress and learning, celebrate success, connect with peers, and strategize next steps.

Our Preliminary Agenda

  • 12–1:00PM: BYO Lunch + Networking (light refreshments provided)
  • 1–2:30PM: Highlights of Progress / Spotlight on Local Purchasing/Assets + Opportunities
  • 2:30–4:00PM: Action Team strategies + Sharing
If you're not already on a Network Action Team, please join a group that best aligns with your work or interests. You can change teams at any time.
  • 4–4:30PM: Next Steps + Celebration

Join the Network's mailing list and/or the Vermont Farm to School listserv to stay up to date.

Please share this with any colleagues or partners that may be interested in joining our Network!

The Vermont Farm to School & Early Childhood Network is coordinated by Vermont FEED, our partnership project with NOFA-VT.
