Educators, farmers, nonprofit organization staff, parents, nutrition practitioners, policy makers, students, and more will come together this November to share skills, build relationships, and celebrate the vibrant field of farm-based education!  The gathering will also welcome many members of our host community, from teachers and food service professionals, to parents, students and local food advocates who seek engagement with the transformative work of farm-based education.  The workshop program will focus on program development, marketing, fundraising, the balance of production and education, and much more. Peer educators will showcase their sites during field trips and workshops, a keynote address will spark discussion, and group meals will allow for ample networking time.

This gathering is organized by the Farm-Based Education Network (FBEN) in partnership with Massachusetts Farm to School (MFTS), The Trustees, Concord-Carlisle Adult and Community Education, Shelburne Farms, and the Concord Food Collaborative.
