Burlington Ensemble - A Benefit Concert for Vermont FEED

This second night of music by the Vermont-based Burlington Ensemble is “GYPSY NIGHT,” featuring the Piano Quartet Opus 25 by Brahms and Bartok’s seldom heard Piano Quintet that combines classical and folk idiomatic styles helping you feel tzigane-like. These indoor classical music concerts benefit Vermont FEED, a statewide Farm to School program that provides food, farming, and nutrition education programs in classrooms, cafeterias, and communitiies. (Shelburne Farms is a partner).  

2013 Festival Artists performing at Shelburne Farms include Sofia Hirsch (violin and Burlington Ensemble Co-Artistic Director), Michael Dabroski (violin and Burlington Ensemble Co-Artistic Director), Rachel Lee (violin), Zoya Tsvetkova (violin), Letitia Quante (vioin), Elizabeth Reid (viola), Peter Sulski (viola), Ariana Falk (cello), John Dunlop (cello), Rachel Calin (double bass), Evan Premo (double bass), David Kaplan (piano) and Elizabeth Metcalfe (harpsichord).
