Please join us in celebrating the publication of China in Another Time: A Personal Story by the late Claire Lintilhac.

Born in the Chinese interior in 1899, Claire lived and worked in China through almost the whole first half of the 20th century. The creator in later life of the Lintilhac Foundation, Claire passed away in Stowe in 1984 — but she left behind an unpublished memoir of her China years, plus 15 hours of recorded storytelling and a collection of family photo albums. From these, the Lintilhac family and Weybridge author Doug Wilhelm produced China in Another Time, with brief historical sidebars and more than 160 vintage photos and drawings. The book will be released October 10 by Rootstock Publishing of Montpelier, and this event will be its public unveiling. Come join us!

The Flying Pig Bookstore will offer both hardcover and paperback editions for sale.
