Do you want to incorporate engaging and fun environmental education into your current curriculum?

Join Vermont State-wide Environmental Education Programs and Susan Cox, a U.S. Forest Service Educator, to learn about the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE) Guidelines for Excellence in Education. We will dive into the Guidelines for Excellence in K-12 Environmental Education and discuss their application in education in Vermont.  This workshop will help you integrate high quality, standards-based instruction that focuses on environmental and outdoor education techniques. All Kindergarten through Grade 12 educators, formal and non-formal, are invited to this fun and productive professional development opportunity.

In addition to the workshop, please consider joining us for our Vermont SWEEP Fall Gathering immediately following from 3:00-5:00pm at VINS. We’ll enjoy refreshments and networking with representatives from many of Vermont’s Environmental Education programs and educators across the state.
