The Borderlands - Way of the Bard Production
Come on a walk through the wild woods. This is the BORDERLANDS, the land where faeries dwell and magic whispers in the wind. This year, the theme is Hansel and Gretel. How do these two abandoned children get wisdom and strength from the fairy world so they can defeat the evil Ogre?
BORDERLANDS is hosted by Shelburne Farms. The mile-long trail begins and ends in the woods by the Coach Barn. Tickets are for a 20-minute time window. Groups leave every 10 to 15 minutes. Along the route there are performances including storytelling, dance, poetry, puppetry, singing and music by elves, fairies, and other woodland creatures. Borderlands opens the magic and mystery of the natural world to all ages. (Strollers not appropriate, young children should walk or be carried.)
BORDERLANDS is held on Saturday Afternoons October 12, 19 and 26th. If the weather is too miserable to walk, we will postpone to the Sunday.
All proceeds for the BORDERLANDS benefit local children’s arts groups. BORDERLANDS is a Treewild – Way of the Bard presentationRegistration Details:
