All of us at Shelburne Farms are so grateful to the Trustees of the Robert W. Wilson Charitable Trust for offering a wonderfully generous $250,000 challenge.
We are pleased to announce that we have met the challenge!
We are grateful to the many supporters who contributed a total of $500,000 in new and increased gifts before December 31, 2020. The Wilson Trustees offered the challenge because they know the effect the pandemic has had on the operations of Shelburne Farms and that the challenge would help bridge a significant financial gap.
While the challenge has been met, Shelburne Farms still needs your support to ensure the financial future of the organization. The pandemic has curtailed many activities and sources of earned revenue for the Farm, including summer camps, public programs and admission, and our Inn and farm-to-table restaurant. Plans for 2021 are uncertain.
