Bob grew up on a hillside farm, which he and his wife Bonnie purchased in 1980 and continue to operate.  The Baird’s raise dairy heifers and produce and market maple syrup from their 5,000-tap sugar bush.  Bob  is a board member and vice president of the Rutland Area Farm and Food Link.
