Holly holds a BA in English and Environmental Studies from Williams College, and worked as a researcher at the Worldwatch Institute in Washington, DC, an environmental policy think tank. But that was all a long time ago. She’s been at Shelburne Farms in various communications roles since 1994, and currently serves as Communications Director. Sharing and writing about the diverse work and achievements of the Farm is a perpetual joy and challenge for her. It’s also a perpetual joy to share the Farm with her two young daughters, who now know far more about the place than she. As a long-time runner, Holly thinks she may have logged more running miles on the Farm than anyone else around. As a long-time knitter, she prizes a particular sweater that she spun and knit from the wool of one of the Farmyard's celebrity sheep, Jabba.
