CONGRATULATIONS! Being awarded a large grant requires considerable work, time and creativity.
Our daughter, son-in-law and a granddaughter just left to go back home to CA and DC. They always want to visit the Farm, and due to covid this was the first visit in a couple of years. So thank you, since our visit to you helped make their Vermont trip special. Kay Frances Schepp

Every year the Farm grows more vital to Vermont and our global village in which every human being participates to make the World a more livable, equitable, and sustainable place through Education. It is heartening to read that societal funding toward the betterment of Humanity still carries weight in today's turbulent world. Perhaps someday it will outpace the spending on profit and greed, and it will touch, and enrich the lives of every single human being. We all hope for a peaceful, caring, and sustainable planet Earth: every ones entitled home. The power of Education, as expressed at Shelburne Farms, can achieve this goal.

As an Ag student at UVM in 1962, I remember my first visit to the farm and the Breeding Barn; I was amazed at the size and construction built so long ago. At that time, there was a huge pen with feeder cattle in it, taking up most of the open area.
I have visited many times since then and I love the peace I always feel when I am at the farm..

Thank you to the Pomerleau family and all the hardworking employees at Shelburne Farms. What an amazing asset for the area. My family has great memories from the activities at Shelburne Farms over many years.

Congratulations on this amazing next step in Shelburne’s mission. Our grandson went to camp at Shelburne for many summers and completed his dream of graduating from SUNY Cobleskill in May. His next dream in his journey is to work in Animal Science/Dairy Management at Shelburne. I am praying this will happen!!! Thank you for all you do to enhance agricultural education!!
