Employee Status:  Seasonal; part-time

Location: In-person at 99 Inn Road, Shelburne, VT

Start/End Date, schedule:  ASAP - October 30th; Tuesdays and Fridays 9AM - 3:30 PM 

 

What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist Floral Designer with weekly fresh flower arrangements for the Inn, public areas, guest rooms, and events.
  • Receiving and conditioning flowers from the Farm Market Garden
  • Maintaining fresh water for floral arrangements and a clean work environment
  • Cover vacation schedule for Floral Designer

Additional Valued Qualifications 

  • Experience in floral design is ideal
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to a welcoming workplace

 

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Carrying and moving vases filled with flower arrangements, weighing up to 40 lbs, up and down stairs and on uneven terrain
  • Working inside without air conditioning
  • Commitment to contribute to and maintain a tidy shared workspace..

 

Benefits 

  • We offer a 30% discount on Farm products.
  • Six (6) days (total of 48 hours) of paid Sick Time for all seasonal employees, regardless of average hours worked/week and length of seasonal time working on the farm.
