Strategic Planning Framework
This framework highlights our organizational priorities for 2023-2026, and is an update to our earlier framework (2017-2022). While it guides decision making and annual work planning across the whole organization, it does not specify every activity and program area of Shelburne Farms.
Our Roots
The nonprofit Shelburne Farms was founded in 1972 with a vision and a belief. The vision was for a thriving and just world rooted in nature and community. The belief was that education was the path to get us there. From the beginning, we have offered programs for youth and operated in service to teachers and schools.
