Spring Forestry Assistant
This seasonal role will help with the busy field work throughout the spring season. Explore the forest stands and field edges of Shelburne Farms while hand pulling garlic mustard. Garlic mustard is an invasive species that does not mesh with our forest stewardship goals. We have been working to keep this species from dominating the forest floor since 2012. You will cover terrain that is off the “beaten path” at the Farm, discover hidden beaches, find forest mushrooms, and cross paths with a few cows along the way!
Welcome Center Guest Services & Sales Associate
As the Welcome Center Guest Services & Sales Associate, you will directly support the mission of Shelburne Farms by connecting our visitors and guests with our local farm products, the programs offered across the farm, and the many ways to explore the farm. You have a passion for agriculture, and while you may not have previously worked on a farm, you’re enthusiastic about sharing farm products with the community.

Market Garden Crew Member
The Market Garden is seeking a motivated individual to join our team for the 2026 growing season. We operate a 7-acre certified organic market garden that produces mixed vegetables, herbs, berries, flowers, and eggs. We work in a production-based setting, but serve as a resource for the educational programs at the Farm. Our products are sold at our year round farm store and to our seasonal on site restaurant as well as donated to the community.
