Hannah is a member of the year round cheesemaking team here at the farm. She graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, and Food Sciences with a minor in Chemistry. It was at school, where she took class on cheesemaking during her sophomore year that got her hooked on the craft. Before joining our staff, Hannah spent a year working as a Cheesemonger at Healthy Living Market and Cafe in South Burlington, VT.
When she is not making cheese (either on the farm or at home) Hannah loves taking on other fermentation-based projects, like kimchi and hard cider. You can also find her checking out the local Burlington music scene, taking a hike, biking along the bike path, or sifting through the racks at various thrift stores.
