Farm to School in the Winter Months

Educator Programs

What does farm to school look like in the winter?  What can we explore in these colder months?

Join educators Courtney and Susie from Shelburne Farms to learn ways of incorporating farm to school when the gardens and bees are "sleeping". From sugaring to sheep we'll learn about gifts from farms beyond the garden. In this workshop we'll share activities and resources for K-6 educators.

Instructors:

  • Susie Marchand, Agricultural Education Coordinator, Shelburne Farms
  • Courtney Mulcahy, EFS Professional Learning Facilitator & Educator, Shelburne Farms
