Forester For A Day

Family & Youth Programs

Put on a hard hat, watch a forester fell a tree, and learn about the importance of trees in our lives!

You will get to check out all of the important equipment that keeps the logger and forest safe when felling a tree and learn why this particular tree is marked for removal (hint.. forest management!) After exploring the woodlands, we'll work with Jeff Parsons in the Beeken Parsons workshop to make a wood product for your home.

Recommended for ages five and up with accompanying adult.
