Forester For a Day

Family & Youth Programs
kids looking at fallen tree

This program is currently full. Join the waitlist to be notified of any openings. Look for future opportunities on our website and social media.

Fell a tree, work in the woodshop, and learn about the importance of trees in our lives!

Check out the equipment that keeps the logger and forest safe when felling a tree and learn why specific trees are selected for removal (hint.. forest management!) After exploring the woodlands, we'll work with Jeff Parsons in the Beeken Parsons workshop to craft a wood product for your home.

Recommended for ages five and up with an accompanying adult. Please purchase a ticket for every person in your group attending the program, both children and adults. Registration is required.
