Rabbit, Rabbit

Family & Youth Programs
Two fluffy rabbits lay side-by-side in a large enclosure, hay and food nearby.

This program is currently full. Join the waitlist to be notified of any openings. Look for future opportunities on our website and social media.

Feel the soft, silky wool of our angora rabbits, learn how to spin their wool into yarn bracelets, and meet Janice Decooman of Velveteen Rabbits of Vermont, who will teach us even more about rabbit fun and fiber.

Janice's new educational program focuses on the classic story, the Velveteen Rabbit and 'what is real'. She will be bringing one of her beautiful Velveteen Lop rabbits along with a variety of items created with angora rabbit wool.

This program is recommended for ages 5+ and their accompanying adults..  Please purchase a ticket for every person in your group attending the program, both children and adults.  Registration is required.
