Renewing our Love of Earth: Earth Charter 25th Anniversary

Special Events
Earth Charter

Celebrate our Earth home and community with Earth Charter International to bring a renewal of hope to the heart of Vermont as we celebrate and rekindle the values and principles of the Earth Charter.

“Twenty-five years ago, the Earth Charter was offered to the world as an ethical compass for global transformation. Today, in the face of profound ecological, social, political, and spiritual crises, we reaffirm its relevance as a vital ethical, political, and educational instrument for building a more just, sustainable, and peaceful common future.” -Earth Charter International Declaration, 2025

This day-long gathering in the Champlain Valley will feature Tiokasin Ghosthorse as he shares an ancestral voice of healing, love, and Earth-honoring wisdom. The event also features: Mary Evelyn Tucker, Gus Speth, Bill McKibben, Amanda Janoo, Keetu Winter, Amanda Bennett, Amy Seidl, Stephen Posner, and Sam King along with music by Paul Winter and Dave Haughey, and more. The Earth Charter 25th Anniversary celebration is a cross-generational, interdisciplinary, and artistic celebration represented by the Ark of Hope.
