Jay is currently a cheesemaker at Shelburne Farms. For the past 13 years, however, he had been a brewer at many local Vermont companies, including Magic Hat Brewing, Von Trapp Brewing, and most recently, Zero Gravity Brewing. (He was also a brewer at Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon.) He enjoys working with his hands to make artisanal products. Outside of work, Jay spends time with his wife, Frankie, which usually includes going on hikes with their dogs Maeby and Gene, eating good food, or kayaking/snow shoeing.
