As Assistant Creamery Manager, Lisa helps oversee the Cheese Team and supports the daily operations at the creamery. Before coming to Shelburne Farms, Lisa was Head Cheesemaker at Spring Brook Farm Cheese in Reading, VT, where she made award-winning Alpine-style cheeses. Before making cheese, Lisa was a cheese monger and cheese educator working at Murray's Cheese and Lucy's Whey in Manhattan, NY before owning her own cheese shop, Monger's Palate, in Brooklyn. When not focusing on all things cheese, Lisa loves hiking, dancing, and building Legos.
