Burlington Taiko 40th Anniversary Celebration
Celebrate 40 years of Burlington Taiko with an afternoon of performances, community, and celebration. This special event honors four decades of sharing the art of Japanese taiko drumming throughout Vermont while looking ahead to the future. Enjoy live performances, interactive drumming experiences, opportunities to meet members past and present, and celebrate the community that has made Burlington Taiko what it is today. Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or are discovering taiko for the first time, we hope you’ll join us for this milestone celebration.
Since its inception in 1986, Burlington Taiko Group has been involved in hundreds of performances, including feature performances at the 100th running of the Boston Marathon, annual performances at Burlington’s First Night, the Joseph Campbell – Keepers of the Lore Festival, the Black Ships Festival in Newport, Rhode Island, and over 200 corporate, collegiate and public performances.
Burlington Taiko offers a range of public, private, collegiate, and school group performances as well as conducting extensive educational programs in schools across New England.
