Orienteering

Discover orienteering with the Green Mountain Orienteering Club. Orienteering is a sport where you’ll use a map and compass to find your way across unfamiliar terrain. Whether you have been doing it for years or are interested in learning this important skill for the first time, join us for a day of orienteering at Shelburne Farms. This is a perfect opportunity for Scouts and other groups! We will have limited compasses available to borrow.
An instructional clinic will be held for those learning the sport from 9-10am., Registration is required ($5 fee per person).
All participants can begin the orienteering route between 10am–12pm and must be back by 2pm. There will be beginner, intermediate, and advanced routes ($5 fee per person). Walk-ins welcome. Cash or venmo, please!
Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
