Herbal Oil Infusions, Salves and Lotions

Kara Buchanan served as co-director of Spoonful Herbals from 2015- 2025. She has practiced herbalism as an avid medicinal gardener and kitchen medicine creatrix for 25 years. She is the formulator behind many of Spoonful’s remedy recipes, stewards Spoonful's primary garden space (the Rooted Heart Rising Garden at Rock Point in Burlington), and teaches a variety of community classes and events while continuing as a guest teacher with the Community Herbalism Apprenticeship program.
