Market Garden Crew Member
The Market Garden is seeking a motivated individual to join our team for the 2026 growing season. We operate a 7-acre certified organic market garden that produces mixed vegetables, herbs, berries, flowers, and eggs. We work in a production-based setting, but serve as a resource for the educational programs at the Farm. Our products are sold at our year round farm store and to our seasonal on site restaurant as well as donated to the community.

This person is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about our mission to strengthen local food systems.
Catering Sous Chef
The Farm Functions Catering Sous Chef plays a vital role in connecting hospitality with sustainability and education. This position supports the Farm Function Chef and collaborates with the Catering Management Team and education team to ensure exceptional culinary experiences in educational programs and campus wide events. The Sous Chef is a hands-on leader who combines operational excellence with creativity, fostering a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and a passion for food systems.
Farm Cart Line Cook
The Line Cook at the Farm's food truck prepares and serves simple and nutritious lunches and snacks, showcasing products produced here at the farm and by other local producers. As you'll be working at the hub of the farm, you'll also have the opportunity to engage with visitors about their meals, sharing information about the farm's mission and sustainable food practices.
Event Staff
Be an integral part of our Event Team at Shelburne Farms! This position contributes to the execution of a wide range of events, large and small, such as programs, outdoor concerts, non-profit gatherings, and events that help foster the mission of Shelburne Farms. The ideal candidate for this position will have a knack for communicative and team-oriented problem solving, a “can-do” attitude, and a passion for creating an unmatched guest experience. This is a part-time, seasonal position from Late-April to Late-October.
