Stewards of the Farm are invited to join us for our Coach Barn Open House on Friday, September 12, 2025. Be among the first to explore the beautifully rehabilitated space, enjoy wine and cheese, and celebrate the success of the Campaign for Shelburne Farms with us! Watch for an invitation via email, and please let us know if you can join us.
Stay at the Inn
Stewards are invited to make a reservation to stay at the Inn while attending the event (two night minimum.) Please let us know if you would like to reserve a room by calling us at 802-985-8498. Reservations cannot be made online for this special block of rooms.

Steward Reception 2024
We were pleased to see so many Shelburne Farms stewards at our annual Steward Reception at the Breeding Barn in September. Whether you were able to attend or not, we invite you to read the remarks, watch the video, and learn more about the Campaign for Shelburne Farms.
During the reception we announced that, thanks to our volunteer Campaign Committee and so many wonderfully generous leadership donors, we had just over $2M to raise by December 31, 2024 to meet our $50M Campaign goal and to meet a $5M challenge from the Robert W. Wilson Trust. We are so grateful for the wonderful and generous support that our Stewards provide each year and for everyone who has supported the Campaign for Shelburne Farms. Thank you!

Steward Reception 2023
We were excited to see so many Shelburne Farms stewards at our annual Steward Reception on June 8, 2023 at the Coach Barn. Whether you were able to attend or not, we invite you to read the remarks and learn more about the Coach Barn Rehabilitation Project that’s beginning late summer 2024. SAS Architects have created an impressive video walkthrough of what the Coach Barn will look like in the future. We are tremendously excited about the future programs this extraordinary building will make possible. We are so grateful for the wonderful and generous support that our Stewards provide each year!

Each year, philanthropic support from individuals and families ensures our education programs remain innovative and vibrant, and that our 1,400-acre campus for learning and National Historic Landmark is maintained and preserved.
