  • As a guest of Shelburne Farms, you're invited to explore our programs and working landscape.
  • Enjoy daily afternoon tea in the Tea Room, one of several lovely common rooms at the Inn.
  • Unwind with a good book in the Library, another common room.
  • Enjoy quiet time or chatty time with fellow guests in the Main Hall.
  • Relax on the patio and savor local, farm-fresh meals at the Inn's restaurant.
  • Absorb the unparalleled beauty of the Inn's formal gardens.

The Inn at Shelburne Farms on the shores of Lake Champlain was originally the 19th-century country home of Dr. William Seward and Lila Vanderbilt Webb. Restored in 1987, the inn today retains its historic character and continues the tradition of warmth, informal elegance and hospitality enjoyed by guests for more than a century. The Inn features:
