There’s lots to discover in and around the Farm Barn. If you have a young family, it may be the center of your day!
Seasonal Hours: 10AM - 4PM daily through October 20, 2024.
The Farm Barn is accessible via our ¾-mile Farm Barn Trail or by a seasonal tractor shuttle that runs every half hour from the Farm Store. The shuttle has stopped for the season.

Children’s Farmyard
Meet all the animals and learn about the roles they play on a working farm. Hands-on activities with our animals scheduled throughout the day, a room full of books and farm-themed toys for children, gardens to explore, and a “Forest House,” too!
Want to bring a school or camp group to the farmyard this season? Request a self-guided visit.

Cheesemaking
Watch our cheesemakers craft the milk of our Brown Swiss cows into cheddar, then enjoy some delicious samples. Located in the central section of the Farm Barn. Starting May 11, you can also:
- Meet a Cheesemaker, 11AM, daily
- Sun to Cheese Tours, 2PM, daily

The storybook changes seasonally!
