There’s lots to discover in and around the Farm Barn. If you have a young family, it may be the center of your day!
Hours: 10AM - 4PM
The Farm Barn is accessible via our ¾-mile Farm Barn Trail or a tractor shuttle, which runs every half hour from the Farm Store, daily, 10-4PM, Saturday and Sundays through October 22 (including Monday, October 9, Indigenous People's Day).

Children’s Farmyard
Meet all the animals and learn about the roles they play on a working farm. Hands-on activities with our animals scheduled throughout the day, a room full of books and farm-themed toys for children, gardens to explore, and a “Forest House,” too!

Raptors in Residence
Come face to face with a live owl or hawk and learn the mysteries of live birds of prey with Outreach for Earth Stewardship. Located just in the woods at beginning of the StoryWalk trail. Free. No registration

StoryWalk
Follow an entertaining children’s storybook as it’s displayed page by page along the trail behind the Children’s Farmyard. Your family can read as you walk, letting the story unfold with every step. This fall's book is Gathering Up the Harvest, by Jennie Eaglespeaker. StoryWalk® was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. The storybook changes seasonally!

Food at the Farm Barn
Our Farm Cart has farm-fresh lunch and snack options 11am-3pm on Sat. & Sun. through October 22. You can also pick up something delicious at the Farm Store. The Farm Barn is also home to O Bread Bakery, an independent production bakery that often has a limited number of bread loaves, cookies, or pastries for sale. (Not a sit-down bakery.)
