Planning Your Day Visit, mid-May to mid-October
Farm Store & Welcome Center
Your visit begins and ends here. Be sure to check in for directions, a visitor guide with trail map, or to ask any questions you may have. While you're there, enjoy some products straight from our farm and other local farms: cheddar, maple syrup, produce, and more. You can order online for local pickup, too.
- Summer Hours: 9:30am-5:30pm (thru October 31, 2024)
- Winter Hours: 10:00am-5:30pm (Nov. 1, 2024 thru April 1, 2025)
Walking Trails
From their breathtaking views to their quiet spaces, our walking trails are the primary way to enjoy our extensive campus. More than 10 miles of trails meander through fields and forests, with popular destinations to the Farm Barn, and Lone Tree Hill. The Inn Flower Gardens and lakeshore are much longer walks (4 miles round trip from Welcome Center).
Farm Barn Fun
Explore the Children’s Farmyard, discover how our cheddar is made, and more! Accessible via the Farm Barn Trail or a seasonal tractor shuttle from the Welcome Center/Farm Store.
Cheesemaking
As part of your visit to the Farm Barn, watch our cheesemakers craft the milk of our Brown Swiss cows into cheddar, then enjoy a sample!
Meet a cheesemaker, daily at 11AM, or check out a Sun to Cheese Tour, at 2PM.
